In all fairness to Lefebvre, last season was probably the one where he would have had a roster able to reach the playoffs. The plethora of injuries in Montreal depleted that lineup. He had to work with ECHLers and guys on Professional Try-Out contracts.

WIth Therrian behind the bench , there is no system other than get to centre ice and dump it in . He cannot Annalise the game and make changes , dump and chase , dump and chase ! And don't ever try to be creative ( see PK ) back to BORING hockey !

I appreciate you and some of the others trying to get me in the Habs Talk spot but really, no worries about it. If I had to share the spot with Andrew then I wouldn't be able to blog as freely as I do. Also, I'm down below with the established and credible writers such as John Jaeckel, Mike Augello, Bill Meltzer, Carol Schram, Proteau etc... Habs Talk might appear to be the top prize but more hits and media credibility is actually down below where I am with the other writers... Habs Talk seems to be more of a place where users chat and poke fun of each other.

Lefebvre hasn't made the playoffs in 4 yrs . You can't fire him he is in Bergevins boys club , NO BODY gets fired in the boys club , you know he's one of those FOX hole guys. We have our SCAPEGOAT guy for the WORST season in franchise history , he's that guy that everyone on the team hates , what's his name oyha SUBBAN . Now Mr Molson just told us that he is a liar too. Bergevin was not shopping PK , YAH RIGHT !!!

this year again they will likely not have that great of a team because they might lose a body or two that was good.
likely mccarron will play a larger role and noah julsen (i think he is old enough for AHL) if not some of the younger kids sherback should be able to show what they got.
